What type of SIA training do I need?

For any front line licence applications you will to have completed a recognised SIA training programme and have achieved the relevant qualification for the type of licence you are applying. (Search SIA Training Providers here)

Required Qualifications for each role are as follows:

Level 2 Award in Cash and Valuables in Transit

Close Protection

Level 3 Certificate in Close Protection

    Please am typing to find how you can make free SIA for, because i came to this country about 3 month ago and looking for work on security.
    i will be happy if you can tell me if the free training is possible for me.

      Free SIA training does depend on where you live and whether you are on benefits or not. Some training companies do offer free training to those on Job Seekers Allowance, however if you are new to the country you might not be eligible as you must be a UK or EU resident for at least 3 years.
